How can you activate paid training leave?: Analysis of Corporate HR Personnel’s Perceptions
|
The paid training leave, promoted since 2009, has received much positive feedback because it reflects both the effects of vocational training and the benefits of long-term training. However, certain issues remain, including frequent changes in support methods and a vague distinction between it and existing training projects. Therefore, in order to improve the overall paid training leave system, it has become necessary to restructure the project and to develop mid- to long-term development plans for the project. In this context, this study analyzes the performance of the project currently operating in Korea (with employer support) using analytical data on the current and actual operating state of the system, and then proposes mid- to long- term reform and development plans to reinvigorate the project.
